How do I begin? Jana was phenomenal! We met to discuss who we were and what we were thinking for our wedding last September. She was so warm and kind towards us, we instantly felt comfortable. She asked us our story, our plans and we truly felt she wanted to know us and know what was important to us for our big day.
She then sent us an email with location ideas for our engagement shoot based on our interests.We were very nervous about getting our photos taken but she tried really hard to make us feel relaxed. She was great giving positive feedback to help us feel like we were looking good! Especially on our wedding day - I still remember her words and how she made me feel! Because of her excitement, positive energy, and her compliments she made me feel even more on cloud 9!
Not only did my husband and I love her, so too did everyone who had their photo taken by Jana - my mom was non stop raving about her! All of my friends loved her too! And the end result, the photos, wow, I literally love them! The thing I love most about them is that they truly represent the day - the laughs, the tears, the mishaps, everything. They are simply beautiful!
I know it is difficult to choose and commit to a photographer for any special occasion especially for your wedding, but I promise you, you will not be disappointed by Jana!
Jana was truly a delight to work with. I am always nervous to have professional photos taken with small children because they can be so unpredictable! We wanted to have family photos done as an early birthday present for my Mom but with two kids I went into this process thinking "we get what we get". Jana brought her "A" game. She was warm and engaging throughout the entire experience. She did a beautiful job of capturing my family and even got my toddler to smile for the camera - which is quite a challenge. For that alone, I would give her 5 starts but she went above and beyond making everyone in the group feel comfortable. I was absolutely blown away when I received the photos - each photo was better than the last!
Since January 2019, I've worked with Jana on numerous photography projects, both personal and professional. She is reliable and adaptable, and her kind and cheerful personality makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. and I've been so happy and confident with our working relationship that I've even brought her on to shoot for some of my client projects. Jana is amazing! She has been the photographer for Workshops & Whatnots from day one. She has shot all our events and it has been 2 years since we started working together and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Not only does she delivery quality photos but she really takes the time to care and mingle with the attendees. She's played a significant role in building the Workshop Wednesdays community and I can't imagine it without her. Right from our initial meeting we knew she was the right fit for us. She is so warm and caring! We were able to share the vision of our wedding day with her and some of the inspiration we had and she took it all in and just made us feel at ease. She went to our location ahead of time to look for the best spots for various shots. When our big day came and it was time for the wedding party photos after the ceremony, we had so much fun with Jana! Her personality and overall calmness made everything fluid. She handled our wedding party of 14 with no problem and kept us right on schedule. Our photos turned out better than we ever could have hoped for! Jana did an absolutely AMAZING job and her professionalism, wonderful communication and overall wonderful presence is why I would recommend her a million times over!!!
