Annalisa Turner

After three years of teaching Annalisa, I felt blessed to be able to photograph her. We decided to mix the grit of Gastown with the elegance and beauty of her two custom made graduation dresses. The day was filled with laughs and a few awkward stares from observers, but Annalisa pushed through.

It has been my pleasure to be able to work so closely with such a great woman. Her positive attitude is encouraging, her energy is contagious, and her beauty endless. I feel lucky to be able to capture this moment in her life as she transitions seamlessly from girl to woman.  

I wish you all the luck in the world, Annalisa, though I don't think you need it. It's the world that needs to prepare itself for you.
