Ryan + Sonya

I hope I don't ever get over the honour of being chosen to photograph someone's wedding. As I start to plan my own wedding, I realize more and more the weight of this job and the true honour it is to capture such a day. No doubt, my family are my greatest supporters, so when Ryan and Sonya asked me to shoot their wedding, I was speechless. Every ounce of self-doubt seeped into my mind, but their faith in me was overwhelming.

Much love to this beautiful couple, for taking a chance on me and believing in me before I really could. I credit their faith in my art as part of the genesis of my journey into freelance photography. That day solidified that I love capturing moments and that it fills me with a fulfillment that gives me life.

I've booked a few weddings for the 2018 season already, and I feel the same incredible appreciation and honour as I did the day they asked me to photograph their wedding, but I believe in myself so much more because of their faith in me.
