Blue & Blush

Continuing our year of shoots, Carole and I got together in January twice to put together an awesome shoot focussing on fashion makeup! As usual, I was greeted by her amazing cat and managed to snap a few quick photos of Doom and Tom!

We started with a blue look completed with flowers, cotton, and saran wrap. We totally lucked out with the lighting in Carole's place that day and the portraits came out essentially perfect in the RAWs.

A week later, Carole put together a blush look, complete with flowers, yarn, and a collar made of paper (and hidden coffee stirrers). The lighting was not as cooperative, but I found a perfect Lightroom filter that helped tie the two looks together.
